quesion about claiming insurance without receipt (iphone)

i am swapping my HD2 for an iphone with a guy, i supplied the receipt with my phone incase he needed to claim or anything but he said his was an upgrade and never got a receipt.

just wondered where i stand insurance wise if i lose it or need to claim? im covered with my house insurance (personal posessions)

ill prob give them a ring 2morrow, just thought someone on here might know

Take a picture of it. Give them the EMEI number.
