Hey All,

Time to start this project thread, I have always been a french hot hatch man building clean track cars to play in however took a different view over the last few years with various german and jap models...

So here is my 54 Plate Monaco Blue 172 completley standard and ready to be played with...

Just a few I took locally today after a quick detail, car is in such good condition apart from a few cosmetic touches so its booked into Dentmagic in Bristol for some TLC next week

soooo parts have turned up! all going on this weekend! pretty excited.!

will get some pictures when it stops raining but have also have the bumper resrayed, all the dings/ dents taken out and a side strip repainted so she really is back to showroom condition now!

haha i love the colour mate! I have just had it repainted on the front end so it is now like new all over back to showroom condition will get some pictures up soon!

Sooo.... As we may know I have been waiting for car parts.... Well they arrived!!

New Wheels, Suspension, KTR Induction and KTR Top Mounts

all ready for fitting beofre hand however off for a spuse up on paint! needing the front bumper re done and other areas on the car touched in and re painted.

Nice and clean last standard shot...

and the Flies I killed on the way home...

anyway time to load the Clio up and head off for a more suitable place to fit the parts!....

So here we go...the transformation sorry there isnt many progress pictures however im sure it isnt anything you guys havent seen before... the whole point of this car is Track day use she isnt my daily so went with the 15inch lightweight wheels didnt want to go for black team dynamics on the Monaco blue so went bold and chose a White motorsport wheel from KTR (oreca) and I am soooo Happy with the results thank you everyone who sent some pictures of there cars on 15's

Coilovers went with Weitech's always been so happy with KW's on previous cars and driving home I am sooooo happy with the results especially with the KTR solid top mounts!

Last but not least the KTR Induction.. once again couldnt be happier the results are great car feels so much more alive picks up nice sounds awesome to! soo all round very happy... and here are the pictures....

Hey All,

Been a little while since updated... been shopping and looking forward to fitting...

Soo thought i would finish my suspension set up, Just purchased Camber shims for the rear, 15mm spacers all round, a whiteline anti roll bar, front and rear upper struts and a front Skoda Fabia splitter all which should be here in the next week! after that after reading on here i am planning to get a fast road set up running 1 degree camber on the rear and 2 degrees on the front as well as going lower that the above pictures! loving the car cant wait to get on track... pictures will come when its all on feel free to lead any advice

Hey All,

Ahead of stripping and caging I decided to Take BristolNate up on testing his new door cards for the 172/182's these where fitted at the weekend and i must say i am over the moon with the result they look fantastic, ultralight and do the job just fine even managed to keep my electric windows for now!

Here are some pictures! as soon as I have a dry day off the car will be stripped ready for a winter transformation.

new arb very very good price using CS discount from Demontweeks

new front and rear KTR spacers and camber shims for the rear 15mm all round

new OMP wheel and boss kit! love this mod makes such a difference!!!!

new front and rear upper strut and stripped the rear out!

and finally here are the finished pics dropped a further 20mm on the front now the coilovers have settled

So there is a serious update due on this... for now and until I have time here is my Monaco 172 in its current state
