problem with freeview recorder

Hey

I got a freeview recorder yesterday and it works fine and the picture is good. But when you record something and play it back the picture is so bad and jerky you can't watch it. Anyone know what the problem may be?

Also just recorder some random kids 10 min programme and that worked ok. But weird

Sounds like a signal issue. If the channel you're recording isn't tuned in correctly, or happens to be fuzzy on that day, it'll record the fuzzy picture..

Try it on a few more things and see how you get on. If it's still naff, obviously, take it back...
