Problem with car starting

Hi All

I have a clio 1.2 03 plate Dynamic. Not every time but most of the time when i attempt to start the car it doesnt tick over or anything, sent the car to be looked at by a mechanic and he refurb the it and still happening, will this be the starter motor or is there something else ?

and advise would be appreciated as it annoying me when i have to boot the starter motor at start it up at the same time thanks

What did the mechanic refurb mate?

Was the starter motor after all, and cant remember what its called :dapprove: sorry. Began with A, not the alternator
