problem need help

noticed the other day when driving along that the car was making a high pitched wining sounding getting louder when i accelerated its a 53 plate clio 1.2 16v it doesn't always do it but when it does it seems to be colder outside continues weather engine is warm or cold. not sure what the problem could be any ideas what should i do?

Is the cambelt or the aux belt/tensioners due to be done?

Check the alternator as well see if its worn

i am not sure how would i find out? and what would be the onious signs if it was warn? the car has done round about 85k so its probably due for a service? thanks
