Pioneer AVIC/AVH DVD flip out headunits, any good?

im seriously considering getting one of these for my car, just wondering if anyone has one or has had one. experiences and if they are any good. i think ill go for the XR1 as you can pick them up on ebay at a decent price, was thinking of plugging in my ipod, x box n stuff. any advice would be greatly appreciated

I know Euan (W3UAN on here) has one mate. But he doesn't have the navigation one, according to him getting lost is more fun! lol. Anyways yeah from what I seen of his they are a good piece of kit! It's great that you can see the playlist of a cd expecially if it's an MP3 CD.
