pads wont fit in caliper with disc URGENT

hello everyone bought some valver calipers and k-tecs fast road discs and pads, everything fits, but the new beefy pads do not allow for room for the new discs,,

do i sand them down or ??

very confused

please help, my car is on axle stands!

You have to push the piston in. Its hard but press really hard on the piston and itll slide in enough to allow the pads in.

all done,, pedal travel is immense! bad!!

do i need to bleed the brakes now ???

about 3 pedals later the brake should return to normal pressure.

it hasnt!! the pedal travel is huge and the brakes will not come on quick at all

Check you havnt loosened the bleed screw at the back.

ALso check you have enough brake fluid in the reservoir.

the screw on the bleed nipple is rounded off, this gets better and better!!
