OK to run with no Injector cover?

Got MOT tomorrow and the damn thing starts misfiring today. Usual fishing EML and running on three cylinders. Changed plugs and ran fantastic for about 5 mins. Is it safe to take it to the garage with no Injector cover on as I'll just get them to test it while it's there.

Yeah makes no odds until you crash so try and avoid that.
