oil question please

i always run my 1.poo 16v on 10/40w magnatec

but my mate bought me some 15/40w cheaper brand oil

will it be ok to run on it for about 5k ?

i know it will be fine but just really asking what you lot would do in this freebe oil situation ta

If you care about the car I'd stick with what you've been putting in, or if you're like me when I had my Escort (didn't give a s**t) use it.

i do care about the car ive had it since new and always used magnatec its now on 60k and 5 years old and never lets me down as i always take care of it

unlike my old nova that i never put a drop of oil in for 15 months lol

imo 10/40 is pefrect for a 1.2 16v

but what you run is fine just more expensive

do you top it up much?

Urm did give it a oil change in March, havnt checked since then tbh, so no on that part
