Oil Problem

Picked up my 182 about mid july and just had light for oil check come on,i topped up with just under 2 litres,would this be the right amount to be topped up?,do the 182 clios use a fair bit of oil?

They can use a lot of oil in the first 6000 miles or so.

Have you used the dipstick?

Had the same on mine light came on when parked the car a pavement but went out when on level ground, so I put about 1 litre in, car was then booked in for service one month later.
Car had covered about 10,500 miles.

mine used to use a bit of oil, had to top it up with about 600ml once, but since the 12k service it hasnt used any and has stayed bang on the max line.

Mine has never used a single drop. Either before or after its 12k service. Luck, or the way I ran it in? i.e. I didnt (changed the gloop at 1000miles though)
