Flippin Norton, I hate it. Crap security protection. AAAAGGGHHH.
Says my subscribtion has expired please renew, I only got the thing in December 06, says on norton account everything is okay and it expires December 07.

Now im sat waiting on live chat (1 hour so far) to speak to one of their tech specialists. Robbing b******s want to charge £9.95 to speak to someone.

Number 14 in line.

I will do at some point, but as i've already paid for norton. I want my monies worth out of it.

All they're likely to tell you to do is uninstall, search the registry for anything that includes "Symantec" or "Norton" and delete them, then re-install.

I usually uninstall then re-install, but can't be arsed to go through that rigmoral.
Though it probarly would have been quicker than waiting for them.

Set the clock/date on your Pc to 3 or four days earlier. Reboot the PC. This should clear the problem. Set clock/date back to original date.

That should sort it.

Why wait for a virus to mess things up when norton will do it quicker lol
