  Clio 1.2
Bonnet and boot are a different silver to rest of car? Or am I wrong? Lol. Same colour as mine though ;) get some coilovers and lower it loads and it'll be a good start :)

Just the boot mate! Plans are to sort out the fried egg bulbs, dent removal, fit my new bumper, team dynamics in black, rs grille, lower by 50mm

Fair enough. Yeah I've done the silver visions on mine, makes a massive difference. Also mines sitting around 75mm all round atm lol. If you go on my profile there's a list of all the mods on there :) I'm keeping an eye out for team dynamics aswell. Got a black bonnet and badges on mine so I think they'll set it all off nicely!

How do they handle/ride? I want lows but love the way the car handles atm

Steve

The handling is excellent. The ride however is a little rough. On roads which are well surfaced its fine, matter of fact is brilliant but on roads which are, well, s**t... It's not great. I mean it doesn't bother me personally, I just love the look of it! If you aren't fussed overly about a bit of a bumpy ride, I'd reccomend them. If comfort is everything for you though - steer clear!

  Clio 1.2
Rough ride doesn't bother me, I'm used to doing many miles in the passenger seat of a mk1 ford escort mexico (1972) so the roughness shouldn't be an issue. I'd want at least 60mm I think, just looks like it's on stilts atm especially with little 14's on

Fair enough! Then yes I'd reccomend them :) mines currently sitting at around 75 - 80mm.

Not trying to have a dig here, and don't get me wrong that's a lovely looking car, but what happens when you get a real clio sport pull up next to you or behind you? Don't you feel a bit... Silly? Should keep 1.2 badges on It and take off 'sport ' IMO. That way it doesn't look like its trying to be a sport, just a smart looking 1.2. My opinion :)

  Honda Civic EP2
Good lord that looks bloody amazing! How much are you totalling for that kind of work?

I don't think it's a matter of speed to be honest, hopefully he's sensible enough not to rag it everywhere because it's a smart looking motor, plus I'm pretty sure he knows he'd easily lose in a race with a RS 182

Seriously though, looks fantastic.

  Fabia VRS
I see what your saying, but no-one has done that... yet lol. The way I think is, if you have a nice car, theres no need to rag it everywhere, because then people do race you! People with fast cars drive them slowly ;) Price wise, I have no idea. I bought the car with most of those modifications already done, but at a guess I'd say around £5000 mark, ridiculous in my opinion, but good for people who buy it after!

That looks great, I thought someone had posted pics of a 182 in the wrong section.
I'd do that to my 1.2 if insurance would let me as I plan to keep it till it dies anyway, would'nt get it sprayed but, far 2 expensive for a 1.2
Is there much difference on insurance costs of this and a standard 1.2?
If it was mines I'd buy 16v bullets and paint them the same as the wheels with colour coded 16v and remove the renault sport badges from the boot then maybe buy the new style R E N A U L T badge to fill the blank space (no sport badge) thats just what I'd do mate it's your car

  Fabia VRS
Insurance isn't that different really, was quite surprised. Not going to spray the badges as of yet as I think I'm changing the wheels, and I'm still deciding on the colour.

Buy it from skeg? A lad i know use to own it, is really nice, looks spot on except the CAF and the bullets.

  Renault clio van
Alloys came with the van! All came how it is with the worse ever spray! The kid i bought it off put the wheels on, sprayd the side plastics white, standard bumpers sprayed white with grille and the wing mirrors! All terrible!
