Nikon D90

I have a chance to buy one 2nd hand for £530 with the kit lens. To do this would have to sell my 500d. Is there a lot of difference between the 2? Is the D90 still as good in the market as it was when first released?

Plus, what's wrong with your 500D and what do you think the D90 is going to offer over your current kit?
