New 'std' 172 Backbox - Noisy :-(

Hi all,

My mechanic has just phoned me as he has fitted a new 'std' backbox to my car for me.

He says it is quite noisy for a standard back box (it's not a Renault one) - has anybody else experienced this?

If its not Renault then its not standard is it?
