New balljoint is to tall?

when fitted it fouls the abs ring, i could grind it down so the upper bit is the same size as the oe one, but am wondering if they have sent me the wrong one?

Looks like it may have been machined wrong.

But my point is that he could take it back in five mins that all mate, nout against what you're selling, just is easier to get changed.
