No need to be patronising, end of the day once this car is done it will be to 100% and it will have a full 4 wheel alignment check.
ment fresh front end so no stone chips and such, so in good condition. harder to sell? not really, most people understand what a cat c write off is and its not a worry to them, theres going to be lots of cat c clios about in the next few years due to the value decreasing, if it was a new 197 on a cat c id expect it to have loads of dammage and thus not be worth it, but older cars are for a good cheap deal.
yeah 2 of them and made about 2.5k on the same of both y?
wasnt done for selling tho, just put them up for about a 1k less than market value with a full assortment of pictures showing the damage and the repair work involved.

In todays market he'd be lucky to get £2.5/3k for a cat-c cup when repaired.

your going on like its about the return on the vehicle, do you not own your car for what it is not worrying about what you get in return come time to sell up?

ok thats a direct insult no need for it.
i gave my view, and you replied with "depends if your an idiot i suppose"
Anyway i'm off out, would love to ramble on about this crap all day. I guess what your saying is a passion for cars and not caring about the value blah blah blah which is not wrong and is dependant upon the person.
In my eyes I always look at the money factor and whether it's "worth" doing and i'd always take into consideration the re-sale value but that's just me.
