MOT front fog lights

Are they included in the MOT, or is it just the rears?

not included im a mechanic and i just had a car tested and it didnt fail on them both bulbs were blown too.

If you look under the glovebox there is a small relay, easy to check, usually faulty relay.

my fog lights arnt even connected, and iirc its illegal to have them for show purposes whilst on the road (they have to work if you've got them) but mine just passed an MOT fine

nope not testable

if its got a broken lense with sharp edges it will fail though...


the they have to work if they are fitted rule dosnt apply to fogs they arent testable at all.


use to apply to 3rd brake lights untill recently now they arent even testable
