I'm wanting to get an iPhone 3GS as my trusty 2year old N95 has packed up this week.

I've walked into 6 Carphonewarehouse / O2 stores this week, and none had stock.... I know, but was worth a try.

O2 and Carphone warehouse sites have none, but Mobiles.co.uk says they have stock.

Would you buy from them, anyone done so?

Wanting the 16gb 3GS, on the £35 contract.

Now, just need to decide to play it safe with black, or go for white...

Alternatively, anyone know any stores in York I can get one?

So how can Mobiles.co.uk offer next day delivery as 'In Stock' when Carphonewarehouse is awaiting delivery for 23rd September?

Not sure, they could be lying about having stock? Give it a go, not sure that I would trust them though. Usually Apple stores have stock even when nobody else does, would be a bit of a drive for you though - nearest Sheffield?

Our O2 store in buxton has "Contract" iphones but not PAYG (according to them)...

Might be worth ringing before travelling down if you're desperate?

I bought my iPhone from them, as did a few mates. No problems, arrived quickly etc. I went through quidco too but I'm still waiting for the cashback!

got my 3gs from them, no issues, went through quidco aswell, but still waiting for that to go into my accound (it has tracked ok though)

there is a code somewhere to get a free bluetooth headset

Hmmm could be tempted only thing putting me off is claiming the money back at the end as on the review websites thats what everybodys complaining about
