Mk1 Camshaft change

  Massey6465 & saxo1.1
How difficult? Using standard timing marks.
Im tempted to have a go at mine as ive got a pair of Performance cams sitting idle in my shed.
Whats the hardest part of the job?
Its on a Williams by the way.
Cheers

PIss easy......old cams out, new ones in and retime to stad timing using timing marks.

Alot easier then eth F3p engine as you have to fart about with shuims, you dont' have to mess with that in t eh f7r iirc

Best place to go would be www.williamsclio.co.uk.....get your answers straight away there, most of the guys have done their own cams there

piss easy tbh. The hardest part will be getting the new belt etc on.

the rocker cover has 2 notches in it, as does the pulleys, get the pulleys lined up to the rocker cover, and get that belt on quick!
