Sorry for being a bit numb here, but i dont understand the whole Mk and Ph things.

I have a J reg clio.. 91, would that be a Mk1 Ph1?

could someone kindly explain this for me!

That would be a mk1 ph1

The mk1s are the ones wihtout the gay bubble at the top of the rear window.

Ph1 had thinner bump strips and a different grill, and flatter rear lights, and the badges at the back at on the strip at the bottem of the boot.

Ph2 had fatter bump strips and a differnt grill, the badges were in teh boot lid rather than the strip at the botem, and the rear lights were kinda bubble shaped.

The Ph3 had the rounded gay headlights, and an eye level brake light in the middle of the boot lid.

MK2s are the ones wiht the gay bubble bit ont he back.

Ph1 had the gay rounded lights, differnt badges in the bump strips

Ph2 has the cool triangluar shaped lights and differnt bump strips.

Sure there are many other differences, but those are what i remember

cool lunner, i looked at a 1.8RSi the other day, and it had the bubble back lights, and the same front lights as mine..

i got confused, as i thought there was only two phases to the mark 1..

Knew id miss sommet, im more of an expert wiht the mk1s than the mk2s

i love the mk1s i think they are much better than the mk2s..

id much prefer a valver than any other clio
