Mac System 'De-Clogger' Recommendations?

Hello!

Are there any recommended apps out there for conducting routine maintenance of macs? The system is not as quick as it used to be so just feel its time for a clean up of all the s**t.

Don't know where to start really as it's a mine field on google. Any first hand experiences of some decent apps? I don't mind paying if they represent good VFM.

CleanMyMac, I run it weekly and it has currently cleared about 30GB of crap! CCleaner was always good on my old PC, but I havent tried it on the Mac since spotting it in the App Store.
