lowing my clio



  clio 1.2 2001 STD
i am looking at buying some lowering spring. and was just wondering what spring sizes i can go with out changing dampers?

Most people will say either, Eibach 30mm or Apex 40mm springs... Dunno of any others i got the Eibach set on mine, the apex's spring give you a crap ride quality supposedly.

I haven't looked for a while but I would expect to pay about £130 for Eibachs and about an hours fitting tops.

Edit - Turns out you will be getting towards £150 for Eibachs.

id be looking at second hand coilovers for that sort of money mate, but as above eibachs and your talking a touch under £200 with them fitted

When i had my 1.4 Eibach and they did me right for that car but would have to say go for coilovers if i was you much beter ride and looks better as you can lower them as much as you like !
