Lower ball joint. Pinch bolt.

We'll after much fun. I've got the majority of the ball joint off. All except the pinch bolt. I have new bolts in the lot so not worried. I finally removed the nut on the punch bolt. But still can't crack the jaws open. The bolt will not budge. Is the carrier tapped? Or will the bolt just knock out, eventually?

Could try heating it.

I did laugh at 'after muchfun'. Ball joints is 11 bolts from memory.

Get a tapered punch in between the two bits that pinch too as the ball joint won't just drop out.
