I guess they would be compatible but I bet they look even worse behind a cheap, aftermarket dial face set and shine thru too much causing it all to "white-out"

Each to thier own but i'd leave the standard SMD's alone

I wouldn't do the purple in the picture I do blue but IMO the blue dials look way better than the standard orange

Ill be changing mine to red soon enough though with maybe green/white/UV LEDS depending whats possible and easy to do but thats another day =)
