Laser wheel alignment?

  Nothing at the mo :(
Hopefully fitting coilovers soon, and been doing some searching into the coilovers and ive seen people posting about gettin the alignment done

Ive seen some posts saying £30. few £50 and a couple at £100+

What sorta alignment does it really need? And is it a specialist aligbment center for it? Or ust a bog standard tyre centre?

Cheers

I just had the tracking done when I fitted my coilies, thing is though, if the car is too low like mine, they can't fit the mirror clamps onto the wheels to set the lazer alignment thing up. Basically I had to raise mine up get the tracking done and then put it back down and the whole thing seemed kinda pointless :p Place i had mine advertised they could get low cars onto their flat ramp, but they still need some arch gap to fit all the equipment to the wheels. £30-£40 sounds about right.

I took my saff cosworth to a place in worthing when I fitted coilovers and adjustable TCAs, they charged about £50 to adjust the tracking and camber and they even took the steering wheel off and centered it as it had more left lock then right. Heres a link to there site http://www.dtstyres.co.uk/wheel_alignment.html Arch gap wasnt an issue with there alignment kit either.

You should probably take it to East Grinstead Tyres mate, they are within reasonable distance if you are in west sussex and they have some of the best equipment around (Hunter) the gauges should also fit a lowered car too

edit: Just seen the link above and they have Hunter too
