I'm looking to get a new laptop, got in the region of £500 to spend. Tend not to use it for anything too intensive but hoping to keep it for a while so would like a good spec. Had a browse around the shops last night and reckon the sort of spec I would like is:
4GB Ram
2.1/2 GHz Intel Core2Duo
250GB+ Hard Drive
No larger than 15.6" Screen
Windows 7
Ideally good battery Life
Tbh, I've fallen a bit behind what is a decent spec these days and what isn't but the above seems to tick the boxes. One question though, is a processor with say 2mb Cache worth the extra money? to a 1MB cache dual-core?
Any suggestions that would meet the above spec?

First one seems a cracking price, but not sure of the Asus name and how good quality they are etc?
