Lambda sensor help!

My 172 has 2 lambda sensors. The exhaust I just bought only has 1 hole for a lambda sensor.
can I leave on out or get a hole made and weld a nut in and then fit the second one?

if I leave it out what difference will it make.

its a 172 with 182 manifold with miltec decat and ketc super sport stealth cat back.

Just zip tie the rear one up under the car so it's sniffing the atmosphere. Job done.

I unplugged the rear one and lost it.... Can I just leave it in plugged?

Yes, both plugged in with the rear one testing fresh air/rain/mud
