Knocking Gearbox

I sometimes get occasional knocking when putting into first gear, after say driving at normal road speed upto a set of traffic lights then pulling away not sure what it is any ideas.

it feels like a thud coming from around the gearbox area. only sometimes it does it really random. will check wheels nuts thanks

Can you feel the thud through the car? Is it when you put it into gear or when you pull away?

no just sometimes when engaging first or second not when pulling away

Check teh gear linkage isn't fouling on anything

it will most likely be the dogbone mount i think.
i used to get this quite a bit, but a powerflex mount stopped it completely.
