K&N replacement filter?

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone can tell me about these replacement air filters? Do you notice any difference in performance or sound? I know an induction get would be better, but i don't want to affect the insurance or when i come to sell.

If anything I'd say a straight swap panel filters better than an induction kit, unless your after that cheap exhaust sound. I'd just get a K&N panel filter you won't need to buy a new filter for a very long time. You can clean and re-use them

direct replacement air filter is your best bet , k&n or itg . will feel smoother but nothing major as gains are concerned

cheers lads. John let me know how you get on. also i read a few things about oil from them messing up the map filter, is this usual or just cos they've put too much oil on it?
