I love the way people think that because a car is low mileage, things shouldn't go wrong, get it at work all the time and it annoys the f**k out of me!!

and reading your posts you are an idiot, everything you have listed is general wear and tear. I can understand you are upset about having to spend your pocket money fixing it but if you had looked after it in the first place then you wouldn't have one (not even) very big bill.
He's probably never been with a woman, let alone how to look after a decent French hot hatchback. My guess is he's probably ginger and plays scrabble on his own.

dude, did you not think to check the cars history before you bought it? sounds like its been RAPED just a little bit. My old "Fix Or Repair Daily" (aka FORD) focus was s**t expensive when it went in for repairs, my clio is far more reasonable, i heard nothing but horror stories from scooby owners about cost.

Mot it was welding or ball joints or emmisions, also had a impreza that was nuts for the whole two weeks till the oil pump faild and engine went bang ( commen fault I heard) so that was a 2k bill in 2 weeks hmmm good car no all my mates with scoobys have gone bang aswell, if I had a mot bill for 350 I would take it on the chin and pay for it as if you bought a new car with that 350 instead u will end up with a worse car and most likely a escort gti, I'm guessing you have no mechanical knowledge either Else you would of been able to do the work you self as the work it failed on was easy to repair, my advice don't go on a Clio website saying how sh*t they Are when you have no knowledge with them.

Ha! In my opinion the guy who owned it before you is a hero, he got rid of it before it needed all the work doing. Your fault for not checking, hard luck.
But anyway, £350 for all that work is a bargain and no different to any other 8 year old car.

So you never ever had any issues at all ever with all your 40 plus fords then? not one of them cost you money? and you've judged the entire renault family off the one car you've had dealings with thats cost you a few quid for general wear and tear and your own fault for not spotting a few obvious issues?
