Is this a good idea

I been thinking of buying a Pipercross cold air feed pipe and somehow feeding it into the standard airbox of the valver direct from the front of the car. It could either feed into the existing inlet underneath or another opening could be made which would double the air intake..has anyone ever tried this successfully? I cant see any draw backs at the moment......what do you chaps think to this idea? No swearing pls! Just a "pipe" dream at the moment.......sorry, couldnt resist that.

i wouldnt bother with the pipercross cold air feed mate, its way over priced.....

you can get other cold air feeds for less than half the price

yeah, run a pipe from the front into your air box.. make sure its sealed ok, for best suction. Should give you a grunt too.
