Is there a difference betweek the shells on a Cup 172/182 and a FF 182/172??

forgive my question as i'm unable to see an answer in previous questions.

i have been told that there is apparently a difference between the shells of a Cup and a FF.

is this true, i personally think not.

Nope, shells are the same. Only difference between the 182/172 shells is the wheel well has been covered up (they just used 172 shells for the 182 and welded in a sheet of metal. Cheap frenchys ). Hubs are different, but it should all fit on either shell.
