Is it my driveshaft that's gone?

Just after a few opinions, basically I'm not having any other issues with my car other than a loud knock and a bit of a (hard to explain) jerk when letting off after acceleration, it isn't a normal thing. It happens in 1st gear only as far as I can tell.

Possible driveshaft problems, there seems to be a knocking noise from both sides when turning the steering but not sure if it's more than there should be.

Impossible to know without getting it looked at. I would not have thought your shafts were gone unless you get other noises in bends and would not be limited to any particular gear).

I would check gearbox mount isn't loose?

Dogbone bushes could be fooked, I polybushed mine and all my knocking stopped!
