iphone recovery need help asap!!

Went to update my iphone 3GS to 4.0 last night but had to install itunes 9.2 1st which was no problem then i went to update but my iphone stopped after about 10 mins of the update its gone into recovery mode now and when i try and restore it comes up with unknown error (21) and won't met me go any further don't know what to do now!!
Anybody help me out please???

You need to use iRecovery to get it out of the restore mode loop.

Google it.

have you tried holding the home/lock buttons down together for 10secs ish?
