I have a couple of light scratches on the transparent plastic panel infront of my dials is there anyway i can polish them out?

  fat arctic ! sold yippee!
i have that as well , very annoying - used to be a thing years ago called "duraglit" which was like wire wool only finer , it took scratches out of glass and plastic , cant find it anywhere nowadays..but have just seen some on ebay!

D

dick

i had some, cant remember what i used, sumthing i had lying around deffo tho. sumthing like tcut or farecla rubbing compound. or both.

I have some tiny scratches on it, One time I used a McDonalds Tissue to wipe something off them(NEVER EVER DO THIS).

Luckily I only did a tiny amount. Their tissues are so abrasive! I need to get them out.

  Better than yours. C*nt.
Careful - plastic is much easier to burn than glass/paintwork so will marr much easier than paintwork. That said a very slow speed on a very light cut polish/pad on a PC should get them up better than new!

Meguiars do a clear plastic polish in there Pro Range. I use a product called S100 Plastic Polish intended for motorcycle visors but have not seen it being sold for a while. Another one to look into would be Plexus, again intended for motorcycle visors etc, I believe Demon Tweeks, do or did sell this.

Would work by hand rather then machine on the binnacle plastic as it is quite thin and easy to deform by machine.
