if i remove the airbag ecu

hi all , i had a bump a week or two ago and my passenger airbag has been set off, ive sorted the airbag but the lights are still on, if i remove the airbag ecu below the centre console will the lights go off???

if not what other ways (free) can be done

The lights will go off, but if you have an accident the airbas will not work.

Good god how many tight f**kers are there on this forum. It controls the airbags ffs, get it sorted properly.

The lights will not go off if you remove the computer.

Doesn't matter as the computer logs the detonation and locks itself unti its reset or a new computer is fitted.
