If I fit a new clutch... will it be much lighter?

I am still struggling with the weight of the clutch on my 182 due to an ankle problem...

The car has now done 70K, if I fit a new clutch, can I expect it to be much lighter?

Try a new cable first

Doubt it mate they are a heavy clutch unfortunately.

I would change the cable, they do rust internally and get quite stiff

They do get MUCH lighter after a clutch change.

The diaphram goes rusty over time and causes the heavyness. Mine was nearly un pressable untill I put a LUK unit in.
