i need to fix this f**king laptop.

Its fucked TBH.

It wont boot from fresh on my cdrive it gets to the loading screen then restarts? I run the startup fixer and it says theres no problems and i keep getting the BS of death. and its relating to usbcam.sys drivers unmounting them selfs.

I dont just want to format my d drive and i have vista installed on there also and thats how im using it now. Any help appreciated.

formatting completely erases EVERYTHING from the drive that you format.

If you can take the drive out you can get an adapter to load it as a secondary drive in another computer to back up all your files that you wish to keep then format the drive in the orignal computer.

get a linux live cd such as ubuntu, boot it, then just copy your files across and format!

I managed to get my.files off. I formatted and re-installed Vista but all the programmes are gone. Like Microsoft works ect. Also the wireless driver is gone so it cant connect to the interwebz

use some one else pc? down load or stick them on to a cd or flash drive then hey presto.

I won't be able to do that until the weekend. Is it defo a driver issue? I can reside my screen ect unlike the other fella

If you are lucky move your pc next to the router and plug an Ethernet lead in as usually you don't need a specialised driver

All my family are in London as are friends. Can anyone email me the realtek wireless driver for a Toshiba sat pro p300. Desire won't let me save download it but if it's a attachment on my gmail I can access it from here

got there in the end, Downloaded the drives to my mem card on the desire, Then transfered them to the laptop and hey presto im online.

i have the laptop up and running now but i have no word excel, works or anything.

Where can i download them? for free as they did come with the laptop.

i think a few people get stuff like that from bittorrent sites, i know you can download a trial version from microsoft website.
