I went on adrian flux and got a quote for a 182 with an exhaust declared and my girlfriend on it. Got a quote of £580. Not bad

Then did the same quote but for a fiesta st no mods declared and girlfriend on it. £970!!!!!

How? Its a slower car

More claims from Fiesta ST drivers I guess.

  B/G 182 + PH1 Track
Flux are a specialist in modified policies, therefore generally struggle to be competitive with unmodified cars.

If that's the case try again but this time declare it has an exhaust or something you are planning to do to it and see if it brings the cost down :rasp:

i added an exhaust and went down to £708. Still high compared to the 182. Only reason i was going to get an ST was to cut running costs. But at the moment tax is only £35 cheaper insurance is more expensive and the MPG is about the same from what i've read on the ST forums.
