hello,
monaco blue 172, 52 plate, 80k miles, 6 months MOT, 6 months tax, front bumper needs respraying (many stone chips), and ABS sensors need doing.
has ktec decat (have cat to go with it in good condition) and ktec cat back full system (with exit cut into rear bumper).
also has turini wheels from cup.
sportlines.
new brake discs/pads (front and rear) 2 months ago.
half worn contisport contact all round.
rest of body is in good condition.
was wondering what you guys think this is actually worth? I was going to part ex for a focus ST, but I am not sure what sort of value I can expect for it (privately - not with a dealer).
looking for approx. price with or without ABS sensors done (I know without them done it's a bit of a non goer, because of the damn dash board serv and abs light being on, makes it look like it's a lemon).
any replies appreciated.

IT depends how quick you want to sell it.
I've watched people on here have their car for sale for 3 months. I would personally rather take £3/400 less and shift it quickly rather than wait for three months! lol.

Currently sitting at 63.5K the now, I actually didnt even realise it had these features until after I had bought, so much for going into a sale with your eyes open!

A friend I know has a clip ph2 172 on a 2002 plate with 112k on the clock but last night his t/belt snapped at 80mph.
He is looking to quickly sell the car to buy something to run about in.
He also has no idea what price he should ask for it.
What do you think is a realistic price ?

When I was looking to PX my 172 I was gettin Prices between £900-£1200
Mine was 51 Plate, 92k Miles and Cambelt done, so you might get more than that

Im looking to sell my clio in next couple of months, 56plate clio mk3 just passed MOT and serviced it has 48k on the clock, the car is immaculate inside and out, it is non modified except a upgrade on the front bulbs, how much does everybody think its worth? cheers

I see them go at 3500 a year or so ago on 80k...
most 'average' buyers not interested past 60k.... last year 50k, year before 40k....
obviously still a market there for them, but low demand- = low price even for the colour...-
