how low can i go?

Hi, got a mk3 1.2 16v lowered 35mm all round on springs, the back sits fine on my 17s but the fronts too high, can I go lower on standard shocks , to 40-45mm, any help with whether I can or where to find lower springs would be appreciated, cheers

You should be able to get away with 40mm on standard shocks, but if I were you I'd definitely invest in some coilovers, then you can play about all you like.

Seconded. I wud say 50mm max on standard shocks
