High comp pistons. How do they drive?

  Ph1
Just out of interest:

Do high compression pistons change the way a car feels to drive?

Will it make the car more lumpy to drive under normal road driving and / or sluggish at low revs?

Does it shift the power more towards peak or will the power remain the same across the graph ?

will be far from sluggish on bottom end.. torque and power will be up right across the rev range. you may need to change what octane fuel you use if you go pretty high tho

When you say sluggish do you mean like lag when its off cam ?

I bought a spare bottom end, not sure whether to forge it prior to fitting. Its mostly a road car but do the odd quarter mile.

I was after an asnwer as well, since fitting cams my dynamic CR is now lower than OEM, Henk recomends me not to go high comp, but the maths I've done tell me otherwise. I may end up doing it in the end :D
