I'd definitely get the bolts out and grease them up mate - use grease meant for boats (or anything nautical) as it is meant to get wet - normal grease will just wash off

Thought I should update this, been ages!
So, got the rear bumper painted,

Then decided I fancied the facelift rear lights, look fresher and they have some LED parts and the oval tail pipes to match the bumper recess.

I managed also to get my hands on some of the facelift front lights (yet to be fitted). Condition was pretty good, but I still wet sanded them down and polished them back up..

Those wheels make me giddy.

Nice update! Ever considered a ducktail spoiler of some sort?

That has turned out really nice. I don't know if I could live with it so low but it sits lovely and the wheels look really well on it.
The bumper and lights also work really well on it.
Nice work.
