Help with PH2 Airbox replacement...

Afternoon All !

Some assistance please ?

I recently purchased a 53 plate 172 which came with a "Green" cone filter ! Knackered to say the least, so I've purchased a second hand OEM Box with PiperX filter.

On the air "Feed" side of the box, there are 2 oval holes to receive cold air feed pipes. There is only one of the oval hoses in my engine bay currently feeding the Cone filter (ie tied in close proximity to the cone filter).

Question - Do I need both feeds connected ?

Excuse the ignorance, any help much appreciated.

yes or you will suffer from heat bleed as it will no doubt be sucking in warm air!

Many thanks ! Need to dig around a bit more, hopefully the 2nd feed has been tucked away somewhere.....

Right, have OEM fitted, but no sign of the rear downward facing feed pipes..

Anyone know the Part number ?
