headlight help

iv got some spare headlights sitting in the shed with all the clips broken on them so there useless to me, i wanted to take the glass off them so i can get behind it want to try something out on them before i do it to my actual headlights.

can someone tell me how to take the glass away from the whole unit?

could try a heat gun to loosen the sealant.

tried last night... didnt quite work how i wanted it to.. not sure if i was aiming in the right place lol

did this on my mates punto headlights which are the same principle as these, we used a dremel to cut between the clear lense and the black part of the headlamp effectively cutting away the mastic between the two.
