Headlamp housings - is the xenon different?

I've got the usual problem of discoloured headlamps on my 182 and my attempts to polish out have not really been successful so wondered if I can just buy new housing and swap the lamps over. Question is whether the housing on the xenons is the same as the standard headlights as new housings seem to be available for less than £60.

They have to be the xenon housings if you're running xenon headlights fella.
