Is there anything I can buy or download to help me find my way around under the bonnet etc etc of my missus 182 at all??

Lol nope, did this for my dCi while I was waiting for the one I bought off eBay to come thro the post... you get 14 days rent, plus when mine did turn up I still used theirs for thumbage so mine didnt get all black.

That's pretty damn low, aswell as pointless, the haynes manual doesnt cover the 182.
