Gearbox Reconditioning in the Midlands

I'm trying to find someone to recondition the gearbox from my Williams 2, I'm based in the Midlands area and wondered if anyone had any experience or recommendations.

I've done a search but couldn't find much.

I've tried to contact Fred but haven't had any luck so far.

Afraid so mate ... I got a replacement box back in September I think it was, but it lasted about 100 miles I could understand if I was some chav wheel spinning out of corners.

Think I'm going to getting your old one refurb'd you'll be pleased to know

Might have to put it up for sale once it's patched up

Still don't get why the original went anyway, it was always smooth as a nut and reguarly changed of its juices, the only thing I can think is that they fucked it up when I had the clutch done, the timeframes too convenient to be coincidence to me....

Hmm, that's an interesting theory and something I had also considered, but knew nothing about ... how would that explain both boxes going in similar ways though, hmm ...
