Gear shift Knob - Clio, Extreme 2005

Hello,

I am looking to change the Gear shift Knob in my Clio. Its the Extreme, 2005 model. I was wondering what is the safest way to remove the current Gear shift Knob, so I can hopefully put my own in some time soon.

Did try getting help in Parkers.co.uk, but all I got in reply were sarky comments about Clios altogether!

Any hints, or suggestions would be great

Get a big pair of grips and twists it off. Its glued on basically. Youll get a load of white powder from the plastics inside so a cloth over the centre console will save a lot of vacuum work.
