Front Wheel Bearings Are Shot...

  Coiley'd Clio PH2
Got a horrible humming noise coming from the front when cruising at motorway speeds or at around 40.
Are they easy to change yourself, or should i get a garage to do them?
Also, can anyone find out how much they are from Renault or any similar company that is perhaps a bit longer lasting?

Cheers
Nick

  A few
Europarts, i had a rear wheel bearing fitted last week. I stood at the garage while they fitted it. Looked an easy job, If you have a good knowledge of fixing cars etc then try doing it yourself.

Doesnt cost alot though taking it to a garage. I think it took them about 20 minute to do mine.

You need a press really so best bet would be to get the hubs off and get someone to press the old ones out and new ones in. A garage shouldn't charge a great deal to do it.
